Tips For Your Computer

Your computer is like all other pieces of your life, it needs attention too. Here are a few tips to help keep your computer running quick and in good health.

Get A Good Antivirus

One of the first things you need to get is a good antivirus. There are many to choose from, so find the one that fits your needs. Just to name a few there is Norton, Macafee, and ZoneAlarm, all these are paid suites that have other programs with them. I recommend Viper by sunbelt, I personally use viper antivirus/spyware and love it. It is easy to use and is very reliable at catching viruses trojans and spyware.

Spyware Protection

Why use spyware protection? Spyware will slow down your pc as well as your internet connection. What is spyware? Spyware comes in all forms and shapes from toolbars like google, myspace, yahoo, and more these follow you around the net and report back what sites your visiting then before you know it, you have more and more spam in your email box. I do not recommend downloading any of the toolbars but those are not the only place spyware comes from, many websites put tracking cooking in them. How do you take care of this then? Well get a good spyware scanner and run it once a week. I recommend any of the following:

Registry Cleaning

We don't recommend you do this unless you know what your doing. If you feel you really must, before using any registry cleaning products, MAKE A RESTORE POINT!!! We can't emphasize this point enough. If you do not know how to make a system restore point, then you should not use a registry cleaner, take your computer to a tech or have one come in.

Having said that, and now that you have made a system restore point, we recommend you use this software to clean your registry.
